The NFL released a line of novelty license plates that are supposed to represent the states in which teams play. The plates have each team’s logo over a silhouette of the state they call home. That can be kind of tricky for a team like the Redskins, who represent Washington D.C., which isn’t a state. So guess what they did for the Redskin’s plate? Yep, they used a silhouette of the state of Washington, which is about 2,670 miles away from D.C. Oops. NFLShop.com has since taken down the product from its site, but of course we have a pic of the wrong plate before the page went dark:
