First Tidbit Of The Day: The All-Star Game Went Extra Innings But Half The Crowd Was Gone

If you didn’t catch the MLB All-Star game last night, don’t feel bad. Even those that were there left early! See, there wasn’t a heck of a lot keeping them there. It was a snoozer of an All-Star Game, with Robinson Cano’s 10th-inning homer notwithstanding.  A homer that gave the American League a 2-1 victory. The most fun moment of this All-Star Game, by far, was when Nelson Cruz pulled out his phone and posed for a photo with Joe West. And if the league wants people to keep tuning into the midsummer event, it might want to foster more goofy fun like that. So by the time the game moved into the 10th inning, roughly half the crowd at Marlins Park had been replaced by empty seats.
