Day one of Country on the River featured great music and weather not typical of August. We started out the day waiting for rain to pass. In between downpours, we were able to get our photobooth with The Village Shopping Center set up!
When the weather ended and the gates opened, we started with Logan Brill and Aaron Watson.
We handed out fans from Hot Spring Spas and Pools, koozies from Creekside Grill and Pub (with a special coupon inside), and shirts from Bronco’s on Third in La Crosse.
Gary talked with the Eli Young Band backstage
They signed our guitars courtesy of Dave’s Guitar shop for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Radiothon coming up in October.
Next up was Darius Rucker. We handed out our shirts and koozies from the stage before Gary interviewed him back stage.
Mr. Rucker seemed pretty impressed with our shirt design.
Who knows what Day 2 will bring. Let us know how your Country on the River is going using #KICKSCOTR and give us a follow on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
