It’s the event of the century, apparently. The solar eclipse that will cast it’s shadow over a path that crosses the United States today. Although it’s exciting, we won’t see anywhere near “totality” here in the La Crosse area. In the first place, we’re somewhat outside the path that cuts across the nation. And secondly, we’re supposed to have clouds and rain on and off today, although Bill Graul says we could have a break over the noon hour when the event passes over us. Here’s a map that shows just how much of the eclipse we’ll see, as well as the schedule for today.
