61% of Parents Say Packing A Lunch Is The Most Stressful Thing About Back-to-School

The kids are heading back to school, which brings on all kinds of stress around the house, right? Well, what do you think is the most stressful thing parents go through at the start of a new school year? When asked about their top three stresses, 61 percent of parents listed packing lunch as the most stressful part of back-to-school time. A  new survey from the food delivery company Wise Apple finds that almost all parents — 85 percent of them — say they feel stressed while prepping and packing lunch for their children. Fifty-five percent said getting their children up and dressed stressed them out, and another 47 percent said homework got them.

I’m not sure what it is about packing a lunch that’s so stressful, whether it’s making sure you have all the healthy things you’re supposed to, or if it’s just finding the time! What do you say, parents?
