A Tennessee School Administrator Rocks School Closing Announcements

If things don’t work out for Dr. Dan Lawson in his position as school director for Tullahoma City Public Schools in Tennessee, he could probably carve out a career for himself in Nashville. Lawson recently used spot-on impressions of Johnny Cash and Garth Brooks to make snow day announcements for the schools in his district. First he does a parody of Johnny Cash’s “I Walk the Line.” He introduces himself, Cash style, in the black-and-white video, then lets the students know “because it’s cool, there is no school.” Lawson’s Garth-themed snow day announcement is a parody of “Friends in Low Places,” re-named “Friends in Snow Places.”
