It’s going to be a tough week for the Philadelphia Eagles and their fans while they’re in Minneapolis for the Super Bowl. From the time they defeated the Vikes we always knew that the Philadelphia Eagles being in the Super Bowl at the Vikes’ home stadium would be awkward. One Minnesota bar is hitting that awkwardness head on. The Truth Bar in Minneapolis is welcoming Philadelphia’s fans with a free beer — in a manner of speaking. A sign posted outside the bar says, “Eagles fans: stop in and have a free beer thrown at you.”
And the players themselves aren’t getting much respect either: Eagles safety Chris Maragos apparently can’t get reservations to restaurants in Minneapolis for him and his teammates because they play for the Eagles. He posted to Twitter that three restaurants have denied reservations to him and his teammates!
