Great story yesterday on news8000.com about the Facebook/Cambridge Analytica scandal. Apparently, a third party sold Cambridge info from about 50 million Facebook users that was then used by the Trump campaign in 2016. Turns out this “third party” wasn’t authorized to sell the info in the first place! Oops! To make matters worse, Facebook never verified that Cambridge deleted the info. Another oops! Now, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is apologizing all over the place and says their planning on making it more obvious to Facebook users just how to change our settings to keep our info more private.
