So today is being dubbed “Discovery Day”, but just what’s being discovered? Well, more women will find out they are pregnant on Wednesday 17 January than at any other time of year, according to a study. The date falls just over two weeks after National Babymaking Day on January 2, which is the most common day of the year for couples to try to conceive. Experts believe more than 10,000 women will be nervously taking pregnancy tests on today to see if the two blue lines appear so they can start planning for a new arrival. The date emerged as a study by parenting site ChannelMum.com revealed a phenomenon dubbed “pregnancy test addiction”, with women taking an average of six different pregnancy tests to ensure they really are expecting. Naturally, if today is indeed Discovery Day for you, we would love it if you share that happy news with us!
