Apparently, Walmart needs some serious geography lessons! They’re facing criticism online for selling a product that misrepresents the shape of the state of Maryland — and not for the first time. The retailer’s website has a listing for a Maryland-shaped craft panel made of fiberboard, but online commenters quickly noticed the object is a vastly distorted version of the state. And it appears they really have trouble getting it right, because they sold University of Maryland T-shirts in 2016 bearing what was supposed to be the outline of the state — but online observers pointed out the silhouette actually belonged to Massachusetts.
