Budweiser and Jim Beam Are Making a Beer Together

La Crosse, WI, United States / KICKS 106.3

You’re ready to do a little imbibing. Let’s see, grab a Bud or a little Jim Beam on ice? How about both? Yep, Budweiser and Jim Beam decided to celebrate the American tradition of drinking a shot of bourbon and a can of beer by introducing a new brew containing both. It’ll be out this fall and it’s called Budweiser Reserve Copper Lager. The Copper Lager is brewed with two-row barley and aged on Jim Beam bourbon barrel staves, giving it a toasty oak aroma and nutty taste, with caramel and vanilla notes. Budweiser and Jim Beam chose this fall to release their new beer because it will be the 85th Anniversary of the repeal of Prohibition—a.k.a. when America became legally fun again. Good reason to celebrate!
