The Money Was Flying Through The Air In Indianapolis

Have you ever seen an armored truck going down the road and thought, “You know, I wonder what would happen if the doors flew open right now.” Well, it happened in Indianapolis when the doors of a Brinks truck opened while traveling on Interstate 70 in Indianapolis, causing hundreds of $20 bills to fly out onto the roadway. Police are now warning anyone who picked up $20 bills that fell from the back of an armored truck on the freeway not to keep the cash. Witnesses say bystanders were picking up the cash while police officers attempted to stop anyone from leaving with the money. The State Patrol said that anyone found to have picked up and kept cash that fell from the truck could face charges if they don’t turn the money over to investigators. And they’re serious too. State Patrol Sgt. Bill Dalton said. “The time to do the right thing and call us to turn in the money is now, because once we knock on your door, you won’t be able to avoid being arrested.”
