It was a tough night for Kenny Chesney in Kansas City Saturday night. Kenny injured himself live onstage during his concert, but as they say, the show must go on, and he finished his show despite appearing to be in visible pain.
He was about halfway through a set that lasted an hour and fifty minutes when he appeared to injure either a knee or an ankle as he bounded across the stage. Rather than leave the stage, Chesney opted to finish the show, though he was less mobile than usual. Instead of running all over his massive setup, which featured three huge video screens, he limited his physical presence to a small area at the end of the stage’s walkway. According to concertgoers, he was still in visible pain, hobbling around and occasionally doubling over.
