It’s About Time!
The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts is honoring Reba McEntire. The country music legend was announced as one of four honorees this year. She will join the likes of Merle Haggard, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson and Loretta Lynn. The ceremony will take place on December 2nd in Washington, D.C.
In addition to Reba, the organization will be recognizing singers Cher, composer Philip Glass and jazz musician Wayne Shorter this year for their contributions to American culture. A special award will also be given to the co-creators of the Broadway musical, Hamilton. The 2018 Kennedy Center Honors ceremony takes place in Washington, D.C. on December 2nd.
